Viagra Connect^® Melts are an innovative thin, menthol-flavoured film, designed for men over 18 who find it difficult to achieve or maintain an erection firm enough for sex. Unlike traditional tablets, these are orodispersible films that melt on the tongue. It contains sildenafil 50mg, the same active ingredient found in Viagra Connect^® tablets, in a fast-dissolving orodispersible film format that melts on the tongue without water.

• Active Ingredient: Contains sildenafil (a PDE5 inhibitor).
• How they work: It helps blood flow into the penis during arousal. It does not increase sexual desire and only works when you are sexually stimulated.
• Timing: Usually starts to work in 25 minutes.
• Discretion: The film disintegrates on the tongue in seconds, meaning you don't need a drink of water to take it.

Do not take Viagra Connect^® Melts if you:

• Take nitrates (e.g., glyceryl trinitrate) for chest pain or heart failure.
• Use recreational "poppers" (amyl nitrite).
• Take ritonavir (for HIV) or riociguat (for pulmonary hypertension).
• Have been advised to avoid sexual activity due to heart or blood vessel problems.
• Have severe heart, liver, or kidney problems, or have had a recent heart attack or stroke.
• Have low blood pressure or uncontrolled high blood pressure.
• Have a rare inherited eye disease or have experienced vision loss due to NAION.
• Are allergic to sildenafil or any ingredients.

Consult a doctor within 6 months of starting use to ensure your ED is not caused by an underlying condition like diabetes or cardiovascular disease.

Like all medicines, Viagra Connect^® Melts may cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Common side effects include:

• Headache
• Facial flushing
• Indigestion
• Nasal congestion
• Dizziness
• Nausea
• Visual disturbances such as blurred vision

Less common or rare side effects include:

• Rash or allergic reactions
• Fast heartbeat or palpitations
• Low blood pressure
• Muscle pain
• Ringing in the ears
• Sudden hearing or vision loss
• Prolonged erection lasting more than 4 hours (priapism)

Seek urgent medical attention if you experience chest pain, sudden loss of vision or hearing, or an erection lasting longer than 4 hours.
